The Witch, the Cat and the Egg” is a creatively written book about a witch who is asked to do something by a dragon. The main character, Juliane, the witch is a good role model for children because she is kind and loves helping others. The potions and spells she knew were creatively thought up as well as the names of the forest creatures by the author. I liked how the characters helped each other, showing that they were great friends and it made a good lesson in friendship. The illustrations that were in the book were good and my favourite character was Magicus her cat because I love cats and thought he was smart.
