Interview and Book News

Joanne Lécuyer, Author and Owner of Topsy Books

Hello dear readers,
I can’t believe how fast time is going by. It seems like many months have passed since I released Kaptain Vamp, but it was only at the end of November. I’ve been busy getting the French version of The Witch, the Cat and the Egg ready for print. It’s now in layout and should be available by mid-March.

I’ve also been working on a new comic book with my artist brother, Seth J. Rowanwood. It’s a fun story of a one-eyed sorcerer named Anex and his cat named Bit. It’s a new genre for me and Seth. Also, Seth decided to create all the images using his IPad! They look amazing. The Tales of Anex and Bit should be out by the end of March. I’m hoping that I’ll be able to publish it in both English and French at the same time.

I’ve did an interview with Dallas Woodburn which is now available on her blog “ Writing Life”. I’m also looking forward to another live interview on March 7th, at 8:00pm. This one is with Cyrus Webb on “Conversations Live”. The focus of the interviews is to talk about the recent release of Kaptain Vamp, my writing process and inspiration, and some other personal facts.

You can check out the other interviews under About Us-Interviews or read what our readers and book reviewers have to say about “Kaptain Vamp” or “The Witch, the Cat and the Egg”!

Thanks Dallas!

Back with more later this month.
